1. Tree View area

The Tree View area is where the elements of the project or active view are displayed

On this page:

By clicking the plus sign, the user opens up the limb to the sub nodes. Below the tree is opened all the way to the instance node by clicking on each plus sign.

2. Tree View Menu

The All button all1 will select and check all the elements in the tree.

The None button none1 will unselect and uncheck all the elements in the tree.

The Invert button invert1 will switch the tree check boxes from checked to unchecked and unchecked to checked.

The Expand button expand1 will open the whole tree.

The Collapse button collapse1 will collapse the whole tree to the top nodes.

By checking the Show Parameters box showparam1, a form containing the parameters and values will appear when the user selects an instance.

By checking the Zoom to Instance box zoominst1, the program will zoom to the instance when it is selected in the tree.

 

3. Tree View

By clicking on the instance, a bottom panel will open with some basic information.

The user can create a similar instance or can delete the instance. The only way to exit the menu without doing anything is to hit Cancel.

 

As the user checks the boxes beside an instance, it is being added to a selection set.
