Creating a Revit Test File

Start Revit

Click New under Projects.

If you have template files, you can select one like Electrical or just click OK

Select Imperial

Revit comes up like below:

Click on Architecture then select Floor then Floor Architectural. The user can pick Floor Structural also.

click the rectangle

Draw a box

click the big green check box to the left of the rectangle you picked earlier. The user should see something similar to below

Select Architeture, then Wall, then Wall Architetural.

pick a corner of the floor

pick 2 other corners then hit esc twice

click View then 3D View
